Swamy Narayana is from Malnad - Region of poets and writers. Now settled in Fairfax, VA.Family : Spouse - Anitha Kids - Nikhil "Nikki" who plans to raise funds for KEC 2007! and Alka. Anitha was an executive member of 2006 Kaveri Committee.

His family has been involved in Indian and Kaveri cultural activities. Participated in KEC 2002 as an executive member. Anitha was a member of KEC 2006. According to him the goal for KEC 2007 is to reach a larger group of Kannadigas in DC Metro area, attract next generation to provide them a cultural identity and offer interesting and new programs to Kaveri members.

He hails from Sirsi, Uttara Kannada. Shivu studied Mechanical Engineering from MCE Hasana. He is now living in Sterling, VA His family includes wife Vinutha & son Aakash. Shivu actively participated in the 4th AKKA World Kannada conference. Hew was the coordinator of Online Registration committee. He is also actively involved in most of Kaveri activities over past 8 years.

Arun is from Bangalore. He came to USA 5 years back and is a resident of Montgomery county, Maryland. He is married to Suchitra and they have a son Aneesh.

Arun very actively participated in the food committee during the 4th AKKA World Kannada conference. He is recognized as a volunteer ready to passionately work on any assignment to achieve the KEC 2007 objectives.

Meena Rao is from Mysore. Her husband Sanjay Rao was the former President of Kaveri (2003). Sanjay Rao was the Secretary at the 4th AKKA World Kannada conference. They have a home in Herndon, VA. Meena moved to the US about 7 years back. They have 2 daughters Mihika and Sanjana

As an active member of Kaveri for couple of years, she was involved in WKC '06 activities, mostly in Drama & Program committees.

Krupesh is from Sagar (Shimoga Dist). He is living in Centreville, VA for last 6 years. He is married to Medini Bhat.

He would like to bring to Kaveri quality stage programs and get more Kannadiga families involved with Kaveri activities in 2007. He was a member of WKC 06 Program committee.

She is from Tumkur and studied Dental Science in Bangalore. Her husband, Nagashankar, was the President of Kaveri during 2001. NagaShankar was the Coordinator of Facility & was involved in Program committee during the 4th AKKA World Kannada conference. They are settled in Germantown, MD. They have a daughter Nidhi [ sonu ]

She says : " Me and my family are proud of Kaveri and longstanding members of the association. It was pleasure experience when we had the responsibility of serving Kaveri when my husband was president of Kaveri in year 2001. We have had the pleasure of being part of successful steering committee and I was in Woman's forum of world Kannada convention , so with these experience I hope I'll be able to involve in all activities coming ahead and make it successful."

Prabhu Shankar is from Bhadravathi. He is an Electronics Engineer graduated from JNEC Shimoga. He is married to Parvathi. Arriving in US during 1999, at present they are located at Germantown, MD.

He says " I organized several cultural events during my college days. I was part of Food Committee in WKC06. I also worked on the old Kaveri web site (which was then hosted on www.karnataka.com/kaveri).Hope to contribute to best of my ability to Kaveri".

A metallurgist with a number of years in Steel Industry in India and the USA. Currently, working with American Iron and Steel Institute in Washington, DC. Acting in dramas is my main hobby. So far I have acted in a number of dramas in Kaveri as well as other Kannada Kootas.
Wife Suneeta is a having a Master's degree in Child Psychology and is a Director in a Child Care system. Son Avinash is studying to be a medical Doctor after doing his electrical engeneering. Another son Nitin is a Bio Medical Engineer with a Masters Degree in Engineering Management. Currently he is working with Accenture in New York.
He and his family came to US in 1992 and live in Montgomery Village Maryland.

A software engineer by profession and an artist by passion. He is from Udupi. Hari did his B.E. from AIT, Chikamaglur and M.Tech. from MIT, Manipal.
Married to Nanditha, who is an IT Associate Consultant. Hari arrived in US in 1999, they are settled in Vienna, VA.
He has decided to move towards from software design/coding to animation in future. He is very passionate in activities involving culture and art. Also has immense interest in listening to music and singing.
He is an Executive member of Vienna Arts Society, Vienna.Hari is involved in sports and plays tennis actively. He won company tennis championship in 2005.
He was the coordinator of Web Site design/content management and the Decoration committees during WKC 2006..

Basavaraj is from Dharwad, now living in Columbia, MD since 2 years. Married to Vasudha in January 2007. He is an Electrical Engineer.

He says " I can represent and cater to Amerikannada community in all possible ways. "

Ashwini Reddy is from Bangalore. Currently living in Germantown, MD with husband Muralidhar Reddy.

Her statement " I am happy to be a part of KEC 2007. My family worked for WKC actively for Finance committee, been active participants for all Kaveri functions. Hope to learn more and contribute actively in the coming years.

Harsha Gopal is from Bangalore. He worked in Arizona for about 2 years and now staying at Owings Mills, MD. Recently he got married to Ramya

He says " I am under learning phase, once I know Kaveri's programs and projects, I can fit in and serve the Kaveri team."

Nagesh has been an active Kaveri member from many years. He was the coordinator of Hospitality Committee during the 4th AKKA World Kannada conference. His wife is Shalini. She was the Joint Coordinator of Women's Forum during WKC 2006.
