Hailing from Belgaum in North Karnataka, Jayashree and her husband Jagadeesh has been active Kaveri members for the past 20 years.
She has helped and supported many Kaveri events and was also a coordinator for the registration committee for the WKC-06. Her children Shilpa (who hosts a Kannada T.V. show AmeriKannada) and Neetal have served as youth members and participated in Kaveri events.

Born and raised in Bangalore. Resident of Chantilly, VA with husband Ravi Dankanikote, and sons Rahul & Karan.
Attended Kaveri since early 90's, and actively volunteered over the years. Actively participated in Kaveri 2002 and in WKC 2006 as part of Women's Forum & Meravanige Committee, and helped out at front desk for registration on all three days. Sponsored 2008 Kaveri cricket tournament.

Originally from Bangalore and resides in Darnestown, MD, with husband, Ben Chikkaswamy and children Danielle, 13, Shivali, 6 and Anish, 6. Electrical engineer by profession and works for their company, Beltsville Industries Group in Beltsville, MD.
She volunteers at kid's schools and also for a non profit organization in Maryland.

Guru Nagaraj originally from Mysore, now living in Herndon, has been involved Kaveri and WKC-06 activities. He is also involved in several Fairfax County volunteer services for Homeless, special Olympics and International Children Festival.
He and his wife Nikhila have two kids, Naman and Nahar. He has a great interest in Humor, Mimicry, Dance and singing especially Dr. Raj Kumar's songs.

Born in Mysore and lived in Bangalore most of the time.I, my husband Nagesh and our son Nithin have been living in Maryland since 1992.
We are all involved in Kaveri for long time in some capacity or the other. Youth Committee was first formed in our residence in 2003, with Nithin as the Vice President for the Youth Committee.

Harsha Gopal is from Bangalore, now settled in Ashburn, VA with wife Ramya and working as an IT consultant. He has served as an EC member of Kaveri 2007. Has been actively involved in Kaveri events from one and half years. He was a volunteer for WKC 2006.
Back in India, he has served as an Editor and International Service Director with Downtown Rotaract Club Bangalore.

Prabhu is from Bhadravathi. He is an Electronics Engineer graduated from JNNEC Shimoga. He is married to Parvathi and they have a son Pranith. Prabhu arrived in US in 1999, at present they live in Germantown , MD.
He was part of Kaveri Executive Committee 2007 and was involved in WKC '06 activities. Designed and developed current Kaveri website. He was also involved in developing previous Kaveri web site (which was then hosted on www.karnataka.com/kaveri).

Shailan Mandayam is originally from Mandaya but resided in Bangalore and Mysore for most of the part. Currently residing in Columbia,MD.
Shailan was the Executive Committee member in 2008. He initiated the Kannada Kaliyona program being the Program Co-ordinator, and the classes are being conducted in Virginia and Maryland with great success .
He has been actively involved in coordinating and conducting the various activities of Divine Spark,NJ. He successfully started Columbia Cricketers, cricket club in Columbia, MD. He lives with his wife Shree ,daughter Smitha and son Rohan in Columbia, MD.
His wife Shree is a volunteer Kannada teacher in Columbia,MD.

I am originally from Bangalore Karnataka, but resided in northern parts of Karnataka including Gadag, Gokak and Hospet. Software engineer by profession.
I have been actively involved in various Kaveri cultural activities including Dance and Music. I like to work with the kids and I have choreographed many dances for Kaveri children. My husband Rama Murthy has also served in Kaveri committee twice. I have a 7yr old son named Vishnu and 11 month old baby girl Veda.

Ramesh V. Reddy is from Kolar district. He is an Engineer by profession. Member of Kaveri, co-ordinator of Tabla classes for kids in Howard county and Captain of "Columbia Cricketers".
He lives in Clarksville, MD with his wife Manjula and son Rahul Reddy. His wife Manjula is a volunteer Kannada teacher in Columbia and son Rahul Reddy has performed in many Kaveri cultural activities.

I was Born and bought up in mysore, now living in Herndon, VA with wife Smita and two kids (Ishika and Ishaan).
Though started in 2007 as fresh Kaveri member, We are involved in various cultural programs/dances of kaveri events. I served as an Extended Executive Committee member of kaveri 2008 looking after Kaveri Discussion Forum. I continue to actively participate in promoting kannada language and culture.

Born in the foot-hills of beautiful Mahadeshwra and Billigiri Rangana betta, Kollegal, studied in Manasa Gangothri, Mysore and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
We were in Durham, NC for nearly 10 years and then relocated to Maryland in 2003. We were impressed with Kaveri Association and the "richness" of various Kannada cultures programs as well as the opportunities for kids and adults. Since then my wife Niranjanakumari and daughter Amulya have been actively involved in various Kaveri functions. My wife is teaching “Kannada” for kids at JSS center and we encourage all the kids to learn to read, write and speak fluently “Kannada”.
We, especially my daughter, have and continue to actively participate in various cultural activities like, drama, singing and dance etc. I also participate and help in various cultural programs. This is my first chance to serve the community. I take this opportunity with great pride.
